The parents are counselled during the tenure of their pregnancy itself about the likely issues the unborn baby has and the ways and means to manage them either in-utero or postnatally.

Hypospadias is the second most common birth defect, PUJ Obstruction is one of the commonest causes of antenatal and early neonatal hydronephrosis ( kidney swelling ), and VUR (vesicoureteric reflux) is the commonest cause of undiagnosed recurrent urinary tract infections UTI's in kids.
