About Happy Kids

When I started Happy Kids, I envisioned it as a public journal. At first, I used this space to hold myself accountable, because maximising physical and mental health can only come from intentional, daily effort. Also, Paediatric Surgical conditions are very different from adult ones and present in a multitude of ways. I thought it would be good if I, a qualified paediatric surgeon was able to simplify the oft harrowing presentations of some of the most common ailments that befall our little ones and provide more info about the best way to diagnose and manage them.

Today, this blog is so much more. I am constantly overwhelmed by the encouragement and feedback I receive from readers. Guiding parents along their journey is my passion in life, so please don’t hesitate to let me know exactly what topics you would like to read about.
